On July 10th of 2010, I was honored to take part in the McHenry County Master Gardeners' Garden Walk.  In 2005 I undertook a landscape renovation to my own garden.  This renovation resulted in new pathways, new perennial beds and a large "circle garden" which features an arbor entrance, flagstone paths, circular lawn and perennial beds.  The style comes across as an English garden.  Arborvitae hedges and white square lattice panels give the garden a sense of enclosure with an iron gate.  Tree hydrangea, espalier apple tree, perennial hibiscus, pink tipped tamarisk, red bee balm, blue dephinium, "My Monet" weigela, and my favorite, tri-colored beech, are just some of the plants that make it my dream garden.
